Farmers Market

“Fresh to you rain or shine”.

A very short stroll from the cafe through the community gardens is the Farmers market which runs from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Set in the “No. 5 store” shed, the market is great in all weather

Featuring local produce, boutique artisan goods, hot and cold foods, an awesome coffee stall, flowers, oils and much, much more, it’s a fantastic experience and well worth a visit.

Coastal Walkway

A great way to check out the local scene is to walk or bike the 4km coastal walkway which takes you around the point and is full of points of historic interest. Maps are available at the cafe.

Worth a special mention is “the landing” area. Now home to the new wharf and ferry service it’s still full of character with its huge Aircraft hangers and flying boat ramp.

Also, take a leisurely wander around “Bomb Point” with its old munitions storage depots, some of which are now home to contemporary works of art.

The walkway is great for exercising dogs and there is also parking at bomb point itself. Groups often book in for a cuppa and recharge at Catalina after doing a circuit. The coastal walk is pretty flat and suitable for most abilities and fitness levels. There is ample public parking opposite the cafe. | VIEW the coastal walkway map on the right |

Doggys

The cafe, farmers market and Hobsonville point in general is very dog friendly.

It has become an extremely popular spot for people to bring their dogs and is the perfect place (for everyone) to get some exercise. The café always has water containers for our furry friends and they are welcome to relax with their owners in the courtyard or covered porch area.

Ferry and Bus

A ferry and bus service is now operational from the new Hobsonville Point Wharf to and from the Auckland C.B.D.

The regularity of services will grow with the community, see the timetable on the right for current services.

Information Center

An information centre for the development is located on Station St in one of the show homes.
